History

Started September 1, 1999, we were originally in a 300 square foot space in Poplar Ridge. We then moved to Main Street in 2000 and that was our home until 2005 when we moved into our current space at 5215 Industrial Road to better accommodate our production equipment. We have ample space for you to park at our front door and come in to discuss your printing and promotional needs.

The artwork on the outside of the building was painted by local artist Trevor Furoy. It was to replicate our “Welcome to the Swamp” motto of Frogbelly and we get many inquiries from out of town visitors who come to see what kind of pet store we are!

We are always asked “What is a Frogbelly? Where does the name come from?” Wade, one of the owners has a unique sense of humour and when our first daughter was born, he said it looked like she was a little frog and had nicknamed her Frogbelly. When Wade and Cheryl started the business the nickname of our daughter became the name of our business. At that time our next daughter Aundrea (Rat) wasn’t in the picture yet; if she was I’m sure the name would have been a combination of the two...Frograt??

FYI: our newly designed website is done by our daughter Amber through her business Vizability Consulting & Design. Her company's motto is "Vision Beyond Sight" and you might ask what that means...well here is a hint, Amber is completely blind.
